This is now firmly entrenched in my top five for fish places. It reminds me of when I was kid fishing with my grandma and going back home and cleaning the fish and my grandma frying the fish and putting it on light bread with hot sauce right out of the frying pan. Now, if you know what I am talking about then you know what I mean. I suggest getting it fried crispy. I had the two meat combination with shrimp, catfish and corkscrew fries. Absolutely done to perfection! My girl had the blackened snapper over dirty rice with a creamy, savory sauce. It looked really good. We also got the hush puppies and fried green tomatoes. All of the food was phenomenal! My compliments to the chef! The cashier/servers were great and very hands on about seeing if we liked the food and how were we doing. I will be going back as there are many more dishes that I have to try.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Try Spot for Southern Food! We had the pleasure of dining here for the first time, and it absolutely won us over. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor — just the way it should be. The shrimp and catfish were cooked perfectly — fresh, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. The fries were absolutely to die for — crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavor. I could come back for those alone! The hushpuppies brought back memories — warm, soft, and just the right amount of sweet. The fried pickles were a crunchy surprise — hot, tangy, and addictive. And we can't forget the banana pudding — it was everything you'd hope and dream banana pudding could be. Creamy, sweet, nostalgic, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, Jo was an amazing server — patient, attentive, and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. Her service truly made our first visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back — and we’re already recommending it to friends and family!

This was a really great experience. The service was great. Food was really good. Atmosphere was comfortable. Too bad they located back in the cut cause if you know you know……otherwise you’ll miss it. I can’t tell you how many times I done come down this road having no idea this place was right here. Great food, will return soon.

Beyond impressed. Wish I could do more than just give 5 stars. We both love this place. I’ve had Cajun all around- including the Deep South, this place holds its own and I’m so happy it’s close! Everything was fantastic. We had the Dunkin catfish- I’m not even a catfish fan and I liked it. Jambalaya and seafood gumbo. The Hushpuppies are actual hushpuppies and soft! The gator was delicious. Everything came out hot! Service was top notch. She was fast, friendly, helpful, and the drinks never got less than half full. She took care of all the tables. The waitress was sweet! The atmosphere is homey, inviting, warm, and comfy. We took home some praline cheesecake. They also do To-go! The restaurant was very clean. Can not wait to come back and added this place to our favorites list!

Tried for 1st time yesterday afternoon. Counter person very friendly, attentive, and didn't rush us. Food was delicious with very generous portions. Husband got the seafood gumbo and crayfish po boy, which he loved. We got order of fried green tomatoes, very good for 2 southern raised old timers. We've already recommended to 3 couples and will definitely be eating there again when in their location.
